A beautiful, privately owned skilled, long term care, nursing facility located in the Bronx, NY is looking for a strong Registered Dietitian.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:

• Direct, supervise and coordinate all the functions and activities and related to clinical nutritional care.
• Develop, or review and revise, and implement policies and procedures to assure compliance with JCAHO standards, and federal and state regulations, laws, and guidelines.
• Develop the monthly Performance Improvement Clinical Nutrition Report.
• Develop and implement plans to faciliate the provision of high quality and appropriate nutrition care to residents.
• Participate or lead interdisciplinary teams, committees, and FS mangers meetings.

Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:

• Must have experience as a Registered Dietitian
• Must have experience in long term care/skilled nursing
• General knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices
• Will be responsible for the clinical aspect of Dietary
