English Teacher - Upper School (2026-2027)

Job Summary:

Lake Highland's Upper School seeks an English teacher to instruct students according to the prescribed LHP curriculum for the Upper School English courses assigned to the teacher. The teacher will perform related teaching tasks and functions such as planning, research, curriculum alignment, assessment, and record-keeping in an efficient and effective manner. As needed, the teacher will also willingly participate in the school community and student co-curricular activities.

This is a full-time, fully benefitted, 10-month position. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups to apply.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Certification or qualification to teach in English or related area in grades 9-12 required.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience preferred.
