Youth Exercise Instructor

Salary $13-14.53 Job Responsibilities: Responsible to focus on transforming lives and championing engagement by helping others achieve goals, make new friends and connect with our Y community through instructions of Born to Move classes. Responsible to provide a safe, enjoyable and positive environment that welcomes kids of all skill and fitness levels. Effectively builds community within the class. Modifies classes as needed to meet varied health, ability and cultural needs. Qualifications: 1. Highschool Diploma or equivalent 2. Must posses CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid certifications prior to hire, and must maintain current certifications during employment. 3. Must be trained in Born to Move facilitation prior to start date. 4. Regularly attend program training and meetings 5. Know and abide by center policies and procedures. 6. Know and abide by center substitution policies; minimizing the use of substitutions. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
