Patient Access Supervisor

About the role We're looking for a handson

• Patient Access Supervisor
• to lead a highvolume Emergency Department access team. You'll coach and develop new and tenured staff, ensure smooth registration and financial clearance workflows, and jump in on escalations to keep patient experience seamless. Our ED has
• 24 beds
• and sees
• ~100 patients per day
• , so you'll thrive if you enjoy fast pace, teamwork, and problemsolving.

What You'll Do

• Lead & develop
• a patient access team of 15 : mentoring, daily support, training, and performance feedback.
• Own escalations
• and help staff resolve complex registration, authorization, and coverage issues with exceptional customer service.
• Oversee operations
• across Registration Process areas :
• Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED
• , and
• on / offsite clinics
• ; ensure policies and work rules are followed.
• Monitor metrics
• and complete daily / weekly performance reports (e.g.,
• financial clearance
• ), plus special projects as assigned.
• Jump in as needed
• to perform all Patient Access functions to keep throughput on track.
• Partner with leadership
• to hit operational goals and contribute to short and longrange planning.

What you'll bring

Shift & OnCall

• Second shift :
• 11 : 00 AM-8 : 00 PM, onsite.
• Oncall :
• every 4th weekend

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $43546.00 - $65338.00 / yr.
