Job Description

The Facilities Material Planner I indirectly supports Facilities Engineering and Project management teams to source suppliers and contractors for in house repairs and projects. Assists in resolving discrepancies in building facilities and maintenance activities. Research materials and service requests for accuracy and compliance. Recommends alternative sources to the various teams for cost effective solutions. Collects records tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles reviews and analyzes data to resolve any discrepancies. Uses software for functional area to compile prepare and process invoices and generate reports and statistics. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities

Required Education Experience & Skills

High School diploma with 4 years of experience Associates degree with 2 years of experience or Bachelors degree.

Proficient in MS office tools including Excel Word PowerPoint.

Must have organizational planning and communications skill bolstered by a collaborative work environment.

Must have strong customer service skills.

Self-starter willing to make recommendations take action and report routinely.

Preferred Education Experience & Skills

Ability to create and analyze purchasing reports.

Experience with purchase orders change orders material orders internal cost transfers and account reconciliation.

Basic understanding of different types of purchase orders and methods for work release.

Requires a thorough understanding of business practices and procedures and the ability to interface well with all levels of management.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $55295 - $94001
