Piper Companies is searching for an experienced Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join a clinical research site in Chattanooga, TN as a part-time Principal Investigator to provide leadership and support for clinical development and execution of gastroenterology clinical trials.
This role is part-time, 6 - hours expected per week, and can be completed onsite in Chattanooga, TN or at your own location.
Responsibilities of the Principal Investigator:
- Provide clinical expertise in the conduct of psychiatry clinical trials
- Collaborate across the organization in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement
- Provide oversight to a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in conducting clinical trials
- Evaluate study volunteer’s eligibility for clinical trials
- Review diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the clinical trials team
Qualifications for the Principal Investigator:
- Board Certified Psychiatrist
- Active license to practice medicine in TN with no history of license suspension or debarment
- Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
- Clinical research experience preferred, not required
Compensation and Additional Details for the Principal Investigator:
- $/hr - $/hr dependent on experience and patient access
- Sick leave if required by law
