American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift contract requiring EPIC proficiency and a North Carolina or compact RN license.

Job Details

  • Emergency Department in a hospital setting,
  • Night shift schedule : 3x12 hour shifts, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am,
  • Requires 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks,
  • Holiday coverage is required as needed,
  • No on-call responsibilities,
  • Floating may be required to other hospital campuses,
  • Utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records,

Job Requirements

  • Active North Carolina or compact RN license required at time of consideration,
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required,
  • Current certifications required : ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS,
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system required,
  • Must pass an EKG exam during compliance with two attempts allowed,
  • Preferred qualifications : CPI, PALS, TNCC, previous Charge RN experience, and Level II Trauma experience,
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted,

    • Additional Information

  • Primary duties involve delivering patient care within the ER, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing high-acuity cases,
  • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences,
  • Modules are completed during orientation, typically taking 2-4 hours,
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
  • Background check must show no open cases,
  • Education must be verifiable and not from institutions on the Florida Diploma Fraud list,
