CFS is partnered with a company who is seeking a Director of Accounting to oversee revenue recognition and compliance while driving process improvements and efficiencies. Position Summary

The Director of Accounting will serve as the subject matter expert on revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and SOX requirements. This individual will partner with cross-functional teams, manage complex contracts, and lead the revenue accounting team through month-end and quarter-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary expert on revenue recognition ensuring compliance with ASC 606
• Guide backlog transactions through to revenue and support revenue forecasting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue accounting team.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Maintain compliance with SOX controls and prepare revenue-related memos for audit purposes.
• Update revenue recognition policies
