Senior Financial Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic financial initiatives within the services industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data mining techniques to drive insightful decision-making.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform detailed financial analyses to support business operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast and evaluate business performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to address urgent business needs and support leadership.
  • Utilize data mining techniques to extract and analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational standards.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions.
  • Strong knowledge of variance analysis and ability to interpret financial trends.
  • Expertise in using data mining techniques to analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
