Howmet Engines Systems (HES) is seeking a Financial Analyst for our facility in Rochester, NY. The Financial Analyst supports the day-to-day general accounting functions and coordination month end closing process, and daily / weekly monthly financial reporting, in addition to providing back up to the Sr Financial Analyst position as it relates to inventories, standard cost revisions and forecasting.

This position is eligible for $1000. sign-on bonus.

Specific Responsibilities Include :

• Perform the monthly close process.
• Complete financial and non-financial data requests of the controller.
• Ensure the proper functioning of internal controls and compliance with U.S. SOX 404 legislation (Sarbanes-Oxley).
• Analyze balance sheet items in collaboration with Shared Services and the business unit in the United States.
• Schedule and track scrap pickups and invoicing of scrap bill of ladings
• Assist with Credit Memo Posting and Re-Aging of Accounts Receivable Items under direction of the Plant Controller

Salary Range : $75,000 to $95,000 depending on experience
