Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an Associate Transplant Coordinator for a job in New York NY.

Responsibilities :

Support coordination of care for kidney transplant patients ensuring timely follow-up and communication.

Assist with reviewing medical records procedure codes and required documentation.

Communicate with insurance providers government programs and third-party agencies to obtain necessary authorizations.

Maintain accurate records logs and patient information using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Provide administrative scheduling and patient-support functions for the transplant service line.

Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely care coordination.

Interact with patients and families offering clear communication and excellent customer service.

Requirements :

High School Diploma / GED (Required).

Bachelors degree (Preferred).

Basic computer skills Microsoft Word & Excel (Required).

Bilingual (Spanish) (Preferred).

Understanding of medical terminology & procedure codes (ICD-9 / 10) (Required).

Knowledge of insurance processes government programs and authorization workflows (Required).

Strong interpersonal customer service time-management and organizational skills.
