What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or disturbances.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or incidents to appropriate personnel and / or law enforcement as required.

Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and enforcement of site policies as directed by site leadership.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or any security-related events.

Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to provide a welcoming and secure environment.

Minimum Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
