Job Description:
We are on the lookout for passionate, patient-focused physicians licensed in multiple states to join our team. With backgrounds in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this position offers an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine without traditional setting constraints. Mostly virtual services are provided, with potential in-person hybrid opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary virtual care, conducting patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, and providing appropriate treatments.
- Foster compassionate, patient-centered care by developing therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests as necessary to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and guide their proper use, noting that QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except for buprenorphine in the context of opioid addiction treatment.
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation to facilitate continuity of care.
- Stay informed about medical advancements, telehealth innovations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Active medical license in a minimum of three U.S. states, ideally five, with a willingness to obtain additional licenses (assistance and costs covered).
- Critical to hold licenses in at least five states and/or a minimum of three of the following: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person patient care settings.
- Willingness to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM - 6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence.
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
- Dedication to expanding access to care and making a significant impact.
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL if required.

As part of onboarding, all physicians must complete necessary training, which may include buprenorphine training. We provide malpractice insurance (3m/1m) and issue a 1099 at the year's end.
