Summary :
We are seeking a motivated Android Developer to support mobile engineering initiatives within client Financial Services organization. This role will work closely with engineering leads to implementing features, fixing bugs, and contribute to the stability and quality of Client. Android applications. This is an entry-level contract position ideal for developers looking to gain experience in a large-scale, high-impact mobile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Android application components under the guidance of senior engineers
- Implement UI and functional requirements using modern Android development practices
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to improve application performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineering, design, and QA
- Follow coding standards, security practices, and documentation guidelines
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Skills :
Strong Kotlin experience and solid understanding of the Android SDK and Jetpack componentsFamiliarity with modular architectures and architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or MVCExperience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt / Dagger) and coroutinesSkilled in performance profiling, memory optimization, and secure data handlingAbility to build reliable, scalable, and well-tested featuresStrong collaboration with product / design partners and comfort supporting junior engineersRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience– years of professional experience in Android developmentProficiency with Kotlin and / or Java for AndroidFamiliarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and common libraries (, Jetpack components)Understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile architecture patterns (, MVVM)Basic knowledge of version control tools such as GitPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with CI / CD tools, unit testing, or automation frameworksExposure to accessibility, security best practices, or performance optimization on AndroidStrong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
