Great Lakes Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager of Information Technology to lead IT operations across GLMI and Great Lakes Medical Billing. This role oversees day-to-day IT services, manages complex healthcare technology systems, and ensures technology solutions support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and business growth.The IT Manager works closely with physicians, leadership, vendors, and internal teams while serving as a coach and mentor to the IT department.

Leadership & People Management
Lead and manage the overall IT departmentRecruit, interview, and onboard IT team membersDevelop staff schedules, manage PTO, and approve timecardsConduct annual performance evaluations and support professional developmentCoach, mentor, and provide ongoing feedback to team membersPartner with Human Resources on disciplinary processes as neededEnsure leadership practices align with GLMI policies and valuesDepartment & Strategic Responsibilities
Oversee IT support for internal and external clientsDevelop and manage IT budgets; monitor and report expendituresEstablish and enforce IT policies, including HIPAA security standardsEnsure service level agreements (SLAs) are metCreate and manage system downtime, backup, and disaster recovery proceduresOversee vendor relationships and after-hours project strategiesCollaborate closely with physicians, administration, and department leadersParticipate in leadership, team, and vendor meetingsTechnical Oversight
Oversee user accounts, access rights, credentials, and directory structuresManage phone systems, printers, fax / scanning hardware, and maintenanceOversee internal and external IT support, network sites, and hardwareManage file transfers, billing system interfaces, and troubleshootingOversee RIS / PACS systems in collaboration with Clinical Applications leadershipDevelop and maintain modality network connectionsSupport radiologist reading stations and clinical workflowsLead IT setup for new sites, including hardware and software installationTrack outages, downtime, and root cause analyses; report to leadershipEnsure corporate IT compliance with regulatory requirementsServe as the primary contact for external IT consultantsManage IT projects from planning through implementationWhat We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field3+ years of experience leading IT operations and supervising technical teamsStrong knowledge of systems administration, networks, security, and data storageProven leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsProject management experience and strong problem-solving abilitiesHealthcare, radiology, or medical terminology experience preferredApply Today
