Summary We are seeking a
Network Engineer (Wireless) to support a large-scale government IT environment focused on mission-critical operations. This role supports enterprise network infrastructure that enables operational readiness, secure communications, and reliable IT services across a complex organization.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for installing, managing, securing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with government security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities - Install, configure, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain network systems including switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and network appliances
- Implement and maintain DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for network compliance
- Evaluate and respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Support approved change management processes
- Design, implement, and manage complex enterprise networks (routing, switching, and wireless)
- Monitor and analyze network activity using SIEM tools to identify and resolve events
- Implement and manage enterprise security protocols and policies
- Work with government and internal technical teams to support project objectives and resolve issues

Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networks
OR
- 7+ years of relevant experience in enterprise wired and wireless networking in lieu of a degree
Required Certifications - Active CompTIA Security+ CE (or higher)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise Core or Wireless
Security Clearance - Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
