Otolaryngology

Your Role on the Team

Under the general direction of the Otology director and Chief Administrative Officer, the full-time Audiologist will be responsible for administering diagnostic audiological tests; hearing aid dispensing (i.e., testing, fitting, and selection), and hearing (re)habilitation services for patients of all ages. The incumbent is independently responsible for basic diagnostic and rehabilitative services. The incumbent will perform ABR, OAE, ENG and ECHOG testing as well as fit and dispense hearing aids.

• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making; ability to develop original ideas to solve problems.
• Computer skills : Windows, Excel, and Word. Excellent oral and written communication.
• Applicants must possess an AuD and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Dispensing Audiologist within California.
• CA Aud License
• 1-year post-externship clinical experience with both adult and pediatric populations.
