Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Morning Shift

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols and delivering outstanding customer service. You will contribute to a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach, all while embracing our culture of agility, reliability, and innovation.

Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon 08 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM

Sat 07 : 30 AM - 04 : 45 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents within the government facility.
  • Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors while enforcing site access policies.
  • Assist with emergency response drills and participate in preparedness activities as required by the site.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in written reports as required by Allied Universal and the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
  • Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
