[job_card.job_description]High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and / or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required. Must have excellent communication skills with a customer / client focus. Must possess a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record. Basic computer skills preferred. Field Crane Technician
Baton Rouge LA
Hourly Rate : $25.00-$45.00 (Depending on Experience)
Responsibilities :
- Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS PAT EKS ECOS & MEGA-TRACK system.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Reads understands and interprets operating / parts manuals blueprints and technical drawings.
- Test mechanical electronic electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
- Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
- Properly fills out working reports hours reports time sheets hours overviews and expense reports.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
