Description

Acara Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our client on a Direct Hire opportunity located in Grapeland, TX. Salary : Up to $130K / yr (DOE)

Schedule : M-F, 100% onsite (flexible first-shift hours)

Benefits : Comprehensive package including bonus & annual profit sharing Key Responsibilities :

  • Create precise, custom steel joist designs supporting diverse, high-impact construction projects.
  • Perform structural design work in accordance with industry standards and company manufacturing processes.
  • Review contract documents, including structural and architectural drawings, and project specifications.
  • Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teams throughout project design and development.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited).
  • F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) certification.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
