Job Details
The Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise-level technology solutions for managed services clients. This role blends deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure IT systems and architectures are secure, scalable, and aligned with both client and internal business objectives. In addition to driving architectural strategy and execution, the Enterprise Architect partners with account teams in pre-sales efforts, develops solution roadmaps, and presents technical strategies to executive and client stakeholders.
This is a client-facing leadership role that requires technical mastery, business acumen, and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, including healthcare executives, physicians, CIOs, and CFOs.
Responsibilities :
Architecture & Strategy
Define, develop, and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks that align technology solutions with client and MSP business goalsDesign and optimize Azure / M365 cloud solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and cost effectivenessDevelop enterprise-wide security architectures that adhere to NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA frameworksContinuously evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance platform performance and client outcomesPre-Sales & Client Engagement
Partner with sales and account teams to design tailored technology solutionsParticipate in client presentations, RFP responses, and proposal developmentTranslate client requirements into architectural blueprints and solution roadmapsServe as a trusted advisor, simplifying technical concepts for executive and physician audiencesLeadership & Delivery
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teamsCollaborate with project managers, analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget project deliveryIdentify risks and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen cybersecurity postureMaintain up-to-date documentation, policies, and architecture roadmapsEducation & Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMicrosoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect ExpertCISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)TOGAF Certified Enterprise ArchitectCISM (Certified Information Security Manager)Experience :
12–15 years in IT systems engineering of enterprise IT platforms8–10 years in enterprise IT architecture within managed services or consulting5+ years in security design and implementationProven expertise designing and deploying Azure cloud solutionsStrong leadership track record guiding technical teams on large-scale projectsPre-sales or client-facing solution design experience preferredKnowledge Areas :
Cloud computing principles, serverless architectures, and cloud-native developmentEnterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)Security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)Microsoft Azure services, including networking, identity, and cloud securityDevSecOps methodologies and automation toolsIT infrastructure : networking, databases, storage solutionsAuthentication protocols (OAuth, SAML) and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)Continuous learning mindset, staying current with industry trends and technologiesSkills & Abilities :
