WHO WE ARE :

The JCC Early Childhood School provides a high-quality age appropriate curriculum that encourages development curiosity imagination and school is available for children ages 6 weeks 5 years old. Our child care program is open to everyone regardless of race religion or ability and features a low child-teacher ratio. Positions available in multiple age groups.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Implement curriculum and activities which promote stimulation learning and fun.
  • Assist with activity planning and preparation of materials and supplies for daily use.
  • Create a warm fun and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Assist in any classroom in order to be in ratio when needed.
  • Be highly mobile and physically able to easily engage in activities like standing for long periods walking bending stooping and sitting.

    • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Education and Experience

    • Prior experience in a licensed childcare center or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus.

  • Maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications; Communicable Disease Training and Child Abuse Training a plus
  • Attend mandatory professional development sessions teacher meetings and family events.
  • Schedule

    • Monday-Friday

  • Year-Round
