Position Summary :

The Procurement Specialist will work with the Procurement Manager to purchase materials to be used in sign manufacturing and installation projects. This role requires attention to detail and coordination with shop, design, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase components required to complete jobs ranging from metals, acrylics, vinyl, LEDs, paint, and other sign manufacturing / installation materials.
• Create, issue, and track purchase orders for all job-specific and stock materials.
• Reviewing drawings, specs, and project timelines to ensure correct materials are purchased per job.
• Coordinate closely with the shop and other departments to ensure items being sourced are exact and accurate.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and work with stockroom personnel in receiving, inspection, and restocking processes.
• Closely and actively compare between material cost, quality, and lead times.
• Expedite delayed orders and communicate material status updates to internal departments.
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and coordinate with Accounting on payments or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with UL, NEC, and company quality standards in all purchased materials.

Key Skills (Trainable, but sign experience is highly preferred.)
