Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Striven). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. Experience managing HR functions, including recruiting and compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills. Must pass a drug and alcohol screening. A full-time Controller is needed to lead all accounting, compliance, and HR functions at a manufacturing facility located in Pocahontas, AR. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees financial operations and human resources, playing a key role in both strategic planning and day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee accounting operations : accounts payable / receivable, budgeting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, manage tax matters, and maintain internal controls.
- Lead monthly closes, audits, forecasts, job costing, and margin analysis.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Enforce policies, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safety and workers' compensation programs.
