Title : Product Development / Lab Tech

Duration : 12+ months Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Location : Brea, CA 92821

Shift Hours : 7-3 : 30 PM (Monday Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
  • Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics).
  • Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
  • Provides completion of technical tasks.
  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications
  • Works with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance.

Minimum Requirement :

  • Minimum education requirement is high school diploma, experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment for a minimum of 6 years, experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.

    • Preferred requirement :

  • Bachelor of Science in a technical area and at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory / R&D setting following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team.
