Manual dexterity, visual acuity, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs. Minimum 2 years experience as a delivery truck driver required. Experience in the Beverage Industry a plus! Salary : $24-$27 per hour DOE
Family owned "Wine Importer / Distributor" located in the Richmond area is seeking a "Delivery Driver" for bay area routes. This is a full-time position with full benefits. This position is Tuesday- Friday on an alternate work schedule of 4 / 10 (4 days / 10 hours per day).
Delivery Driver Responsibilities :
- Loading, unloading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Pulling, preparing and reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
- Loading and unloading items from vehicles.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Obtaining client or customer signatures.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Preparing documents relating to deliveries.
- Operating equipment such as trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Communicating and coordinating with Warehouse Manager, office staff and other team members to make deliveries.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Following best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading. a.
