The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Preschool-Grade 12 Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.

We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Elementary General Studies team as a classroom teacher. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching reading, math, and writers workshop through whole group, small group and independent instruction. Teachers are responsible for planning lessons, delivering differentiated instruction, assessing student learning, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues.

An ideal candidate will possess a love of teaching children, excitement for trying new curricula and methodologies, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• MA degree in education

• A minimum of three years teaching as a head teacher in an elementary school

• A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains

• A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: $60,000-75,000
