This is a perishable distribution center with floral, meat, and produce products. Temperatures range from -10 (freezer) to 46 degrees (including a banana and avocado ripening room!). Base pay : see bottom of page for wage range. Incentives : $200 8-week training completion bonus! $1000 milestone bonus! $500 @ 6 and 12 months. $840 a month potential based on productivity and accuracy. / ppShift : 11 : 00 AM shift start time, will work to completion, and have a rotating 4-day / 10-hour workweeks including weekends and holidays. Schedules are subject to change (provided 3 weeks in advance). / ph3Job Requirements and Basic Qualifications : / h3ulliUse voice-based order system to select and palletize store orders / liliManually stacking product onto pallets, wrapping, and preparing product for shipment / liliRespect all Good Organics compliances when stacking product / liliOperating an electric / motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) / liliAssist in cleaning the warehouse, maintaining a safe working environment / liliComply with all applicable health and safety codes / liliCommunicate and maintain employee safety and security standards / liliArrive to work on time, wear appropriate PPE, work all scheduled shifts, complete required trainings and attend required meetings / liliAbility to read and speak basic English / liliPerform other duties as assigned by Team Leader, Associate Team Leader, Facility Leadership / li / ulh3Skills / Requirements and Professional Knowledge : / h3ulliExperience working with an electric / motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) / liliExperience with voice systems a plus / liliTeam-player with positive attitude / liliStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines / liliAble to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision / li / ulh3Working Conditions and Physical Requirements : / h3ulliAbility to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation / liliMust be able to lift 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (team lift suggested for weights in excess of 70 lbs) / li / ulpWork in a cold / wet storage facility environment (ranging from -10 (freezer) to 55 degrees Fahrenheit). General warehouse temps 34-46 degrees, Freezer -10 degrees. / ppRegularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift. / ppHand use : single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. / ppAbility to use tools and equipment, including safety box cutters, electric pallet jacks and voice equipment. / ppMust adhere to company dress code and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). / ppAvailability Requirements : / pulliAverage shifts are 8-10 hours long / liliAbility to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed / li / ulpThe wage range for this position is $17.00-$33.66 Hourly, commensurate with experience.
