Overview :
Seeks Collaborate with functional leads and SMEs to understand, index, and document future-state Business Processes using industry-standard notations (e.g., BPMN)Responsibilities :
Build Methods and Procedures Documentation for specific tasks within a business process where step-by-step instructions are requiredAnalyze future-state workflows for improvement and optimization opportunitiesWork closely with client and vendor project teams (Development, OCM, Testing, Training, etc.) to ensure that Business Process documentation aligns with project objectives and timelinesProvide expertise in process mapping, modeling techniques, and best practices - transition knowledge and documentation to Client at the close of the projectConduct workshops and interviews where required to address potential gaps in future-state Business Process and / orMethods & Procedures documentationSupport the implementation of process improvements by providing guidance and documentation to relevant stakeholdersManage project "open items" pertaining to Business Process and / or Methods & Procedures to closure leveragingBusiness Process Flows and Methods & Procedures documents of record.Manage interim process design and maintenance where temporary alterations in a standard Business Process may be required to manage anticipated system downtime or workarounds for production defectsMaintain Business Process and Methods & Procedures documents of record for the project teamQualifications :
Required Skills / Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven experience as a Business Process Modeler or similar roleProficiency in using business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or dedicated BPM tools)Strong understanding of business process modeling notations, particularly BPMNExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration abilitiesKnowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, CMMI) is preferredState Government experience and specific experience in DHS or Child Welfare domains is preferredDetail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality deliverablesPreferred / Not Required
Provide any skills / experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples : Previous supervisory experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
