Purchasing Agent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of goods and services for our client.

Purchasing Agent Details :

  • Temporary position
  • $ / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday)
  • create POs and help our current purchasing manager with workload.
  • take requisitions, understand approval to buy, and release the PO.
  • work to expedite where needed. Very tactical purchasing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
  • Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.

    • Purchasing Agent Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
