Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities; familiarity with planning tools. Experience presenting insights using visualization platforms such as Power BI Tableau ThoughtSpot or similar. Background working cross-functionally with accounting IT and operational groups. MBA or other relevant graduate degree. Experience presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Strong customer-service orientation and ability to understand stakeholder needs. Sound decision-making skills using a mix of analysis judgment and experience. Accountability and ownership of deliverables and timelines. Effective communication skills across varied audiences and formats. High integrity and consistent follow-through. Strong financial acumen and ability to link data to business strategy. Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. Strong planning prioritization and organizational skills. Strong command of financial principles terminology and analytical frameworks. Understanding of statistical concepts and their application to financial analysis. We are working with a long-standing organization in the entertainment benefits space that is seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join its Accounting and Finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting leadership with sophisticated financial insights forward-looking modeling and clear data storytelling that informs strategic decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills curiosity and the ability to translate complex information into compelling executive-ready narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Insight Development & Executive Reporting
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting packages dashboards and presentations covering operating expenses capital spending and workforce planning.
- Evaluate both quantitative and qualitative information to build comprehensive analyses for major initiatives.
- Convert analytical findings into clear cohesive narrativesusing visuals written summaries and presentationsto connect financial outcomes with broader strategic objectives.
- Modeling Forecasting & Scenario Planning
- Support leadership in preparing the annual budget and annual report.
- Build dynamic financial models and scenario analyses that serve as inputs for strategy discussions and long-term planning.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to refine assumptions and ensure accuracy of model inputs.
- Data Structure Integrity & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with the accounting team to strengthen data architecture validation methods and overall data governance.
- Recommend enhancements to streamline data collection and improve accuracy consistency and reporting efficiency.
