Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Location : Purcellville, VA

Our established primary care practice in Purcellville, VA, is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). This role involves providing comprehensive care, combining traditional Primary Care services, specialized Women's Health focus, and management of our busy Acute Care walk-in clinic. We welcome applications from new graduates with excellent academic records.

Schedule

Part-Time Fixed Schedule :

Monday : 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM
Tuesday : 9 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Alternate Weekends : Saturday and Sunday, 10 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for a wide range of patient care duties, including :

Comprehensive Primary Care : Conducting health assessments, physical examinations, and managing both acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan.

Acute Care : Providing diagnosis and treatment for walk-in patients with urgent health issues and minor traumas.

Women's Health : Offering routine well-woman examinations, screenings (e.g., Pap smears), and counseling.

Diagnostic Management : Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests (labs, imaging).

Treatment Planning : Developing and implementing effective treatment plans, including prescription management and patient education.

Efficiency : Utilizing AI scribing technology to ensure efficient and accurate medical documentation, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Required Qualifications

Certification : Must be a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Experience : New Graduates are encouraged to apply; must possess current or eligible NP licensure in Virginia.

Academics : Required GPA of 3.6 or higher from an accredited program.

Attributes : Demonstrated ability to be hardworking and maintain a consistently positive attitude.
