They are seeking a Finance Business Partner Commercial to act as a strategic partner to commercial teams, providing financial insight and analysis that directly influence key business decisions.
This role plays a critical part in supporting Sales, Marketing, and Category teams by optimizing revenue, managing trade investments, and driving margin improvement across customers and channels.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to evaluate commercial initiatives, promotional plans, and investment decisions.Oversee the end-to-end management of trade funds, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and reporting.Support customer negotiations and trade terms with financial insight and risk assessment.Serve as a key point of contact between Finance and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial and strategic objectives.Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for revenue, trade spend, and gross margin.Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and dashboards with clear insights and actionable recommendations.Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities.Performance Management
Track and analyze key commercial KPIs, including customer and channel profitability and ROI of trade spend.Drive margin and working capital improvements through deep commercial analysis.Evaluate financial performance by customer, product, and region to support strategic business reviews.Commercial Projects & Strategic Support
Build scenario models, business cases, and investment appraisals for strategic initiatives (e.g., channel expansion or new market entry).Lead finance support for customer planning cycles, sales incentive programs, and contract negotiations.Controls & Governance
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and governance related to pricing, promotions, discounting, and trade terms.Partner with Legal and Compliance teams on contract reviews and risk assessments as needed.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering roles.Strong commercial acumen with experience in beauty, cosmetics, CPG, retail, or consumer-focused environments .Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or Anaplan.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.Preferred Qualifications
MBA or professional certification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA).Experience supporting sales teams with pricing, trade spend, trade terms, and promotional financeideally within beauty or cosmetics .Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
