Scope of Work (Summary)
This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing project activities for the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) , specifically within the Office of Information & Technology Services (ITS) .
The role supports both :
- External vendor system projects
- Internal ODM ITS projects
Examples include :
Software development projectsIT infrastructure projectsCOTS product implementationsKey Responsibilities
Provide project oversight ensuring ODM ITS and contracted vendors meet commitments to deliver projects on time, within budget, and within scope .Manage high-level ITS projects and act as a liaison between ODM ITS and stakeholder groups to ensure successful delivery within project criteria and timelines.Work with ITS project resources to :Plan, monitor, and manage projects
Manage timelines and deliverablesEscalate issues where appropriateFacilitate meetingsProvide summaries, action items, and stakeholder communicationsCollaborate and coordinate with :System vendor project managers
ODM PMOEspecially on Ohio Medicaid Enterprise Systems (OMES) vendor projects, with focus on technical and security aspectsMonitor, track, and report project progress when appropriate.Provide overall direction, guidance, communication, and facilitation of assigned projects.Work with cross-functional teams at :ODM

Education :Bachelor's degree (BS / BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience :8+ years in IT project and program management
