We are seeking a Lead Commodities Analyst to help shape the strategic direction of our Members power supply portfolios. This role goes beyond analysis it is a chance to influence market strategy optimize resources and drive decisions that directly support the long-term resilience of municipal utilities across Massachusetts. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Power Supply Strategy & Development

• Build evolve and broaden MMWECs short- and mid-term power supply programs.
• Present physical and financial supply strategies and hedging options to Member Systems.
• Define Member risk tolerance and structure transactions that promote stability and flexibility.
• Apply energy derivative pricing knowledge to optimize optionality and resource positioning.

Power Portfolio Management

Asset Optimization & ISO-NE Market Operations

Reporting & Forecasting

Rotational & Daily Operations
