UX Designer

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY
Our client's Retail Engineering & Publishing Systems team is seeking a UX Designer to support an internal Content Management System (CMS) that powers content for a large, external-facing support property.
This role will help transform a traditionally text-heavy experience into a
modern, editorial, narrative-driven UX . The designer will play a key role in evolving the CMS toward visually rich layouts while contributing to design systems and internal Sketch component libraries.
This is a highly visible role supporting a major BB product launch, working closely with business stakeholders, engineering partners, and leadership.
THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU - Own design projects end-to-end — from initial brief through final presentation and handoff, with minimal supervision
- Produce high-quality mockups, responsive layouts, and production-ready assets using Sketch (+)
- Translate product and business requirements into thoughtful, editorial-style UX experiences within a CMS environment
- Present design concepts and strategy to stakeholders, executive leadership, and occasionally C-suite audiences
- Lead visual storytelling through strong typography, hierarchy, and layout systems
- Build and contribute Sketch components to an internal design system/library
- Partner cross-functionally to shape tone, voice, and communication strategy for high-impact launches
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- –+ years of UX Design experience, ideally within SaaS or CMS platforms Expert-level proficiency in Sketch (+) — this is a production-heavy role and Sketch mastery is an absolute requirement Demonstrated ability to independently own a design brief from early concept through final presentation and delivery Solid understanding of responsive design principles and component-based systems
- Strong eye for typography with a deep understanding of visual hierarchy and editorial layout design
- Exceptional communication skills with proven experience presenting design concepts to business stakeholders, executive leadership, and occasionally C-suite audiences
NICE TO HAVES - Hands-on experience contributing to design systems and building component libraries
- Experience on external-facing, consumer, or Marcom-style digital properties
- Hands-on experience designing for AEM or enterprise CMS platforms
