This opening is available due to a recent employee departure. The Piping Engineer will design and support combustion piping systems, utility layouts, and related mechanical components for industrial applications. The role involves hands-on design work, system calculations, and collaboration with project and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and size combustion piping trains and utility supply systems including air, gas, and water
- Perform detailed calculations for flow, pressure, and performance within combustion systems
- Create and update system drawings using AutoCAD
- Support installation and field teams to ensure system functionality and compliance
- Participate in system troubleshooting and optimization
- Travel for site visits, installation support, and commissioning as required (about 25 percent across North America)
Qualifications
Experience with combustion piping trains and related componentsStrong understanding of combustion design principles including flow and pressure calculationsProficient in AutoCADFamiliar with utility sizing (air, gas, water)Background in ovens, furnaces, or thermal systems such as those used in automotive paint or industrial finishing environments is welcomeMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipCompensation and Benefits
