Your Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and devising tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or acting independently as permitted by your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on prevention strategies, wellness initiatives, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing necessary medications and treatments within the frameworks of practice

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days
