North Carolina Licensed Compliance Officer

A company is looking for a Compliance Officer I responsible for executing the Compliance Risk Management Program.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze external laws and regulations, and assist in developing policies and procedures for regulatory compliance

Act as a liaison between business units and regulatory bodies during compliance examinations and resolve related issues

Prepare management reports on compliance reviews and legal changes, ensuring communication of necessary actions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, or Banking, or a High School Diploma / GED with 8 years of relevant experience

Experience with consumer and small business deposits

Knowledge of Regulation E, disputes, and electronic funds transfer

Technical proficiency, particularly with MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint

Relevant certifications such as CAMS, CAFP, CRCM, or CIPP are preferred
