Our client is seeking a SQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain SQL Server-based solutions that support enterprise reporting, data integration, and analytics needs. The role focuses on building high-performing, secure, and scalable database environments. This position is based on-site in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and related database objects.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance SQL Server environments while ensuring security and compliance.
  • Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS for integration of internal and external data sources.
  • Build and maintain SSRS reports and SSAS models.
  • Create and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop and manage project plans and timelines for assigned initiatives.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as needed.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of SQL development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization (execution plans, indexing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Understanding of database security, backup, and recovery processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

    • Compensation : $90,000-110,000

    Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
