OTR Class A Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Milk. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

• Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries made.
• Follow assigned routes for timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)with a clean driving record.
• Must know how to drive a 13 speed manual.
• Tanker Endorsement.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with refrigerated trailers or tankers.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other loading equipment safely.
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
