Job Description

As a Security Guard - Flex Telecom Facility in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. Learn more : aus.com / earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a reliable and innovative environment, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and always acts with integrity.

Pay Rate : $16.56 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity within the location and promptly report findings to the appropriate contacts.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work in environments typical of technology, media, and telecom locations, adapting to varying site-specific conditions and requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
