Perfect Rack Billiards in Jacksonville, FL is looking for one assistant kitchen manager to join our team. We are located on 1186 Edgewood Ave S. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to ensure quality standards are met and safety regulations are followed.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ingredients, to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked without excess waste.
• Train new kitchen employees on proper food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
• Monitor kitchen equipment functionality and cleanliness, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed to prevent disruptions in service.
• Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to develop menu items, considering cost, availability of ingredients, and seasonal variations.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including conducting regular kitchen inspections and audits.

This is a full time, salary based position and requires late night hours until 1 am on weeknights and 3 am on weekends.
