Job Title : Analyst, Performance Load Test
Duties : Assist in development and make recommendations for tuning of systems to achieve acceptable performance. Working with the Development and support areas, design automated and manual tests simulations for load and stress testing of various complex company systems and applications. Participate in performance tracking and issue resolution. Mentor more junior members of the Performance Load Testing team.
Skills : Required Skills and Abilities : Strong knowledge of software and system architectural concepts. Strong understanding of the system from different perspectives and how its components interact with each other. Able to write test cases / scripts and read / understand bridge diagrams and architectural diagrams. Able to negotiate with or influence business or technical partners. Strong organization and both written and verbal communication skills. Able to utilize tools to solve a problems involving performance. Able to analyze and report results on the performance of the systems.
Required Software and Other Tools : Proficiency in performance testing and monitoring tools. Proficiency in object oriented programming languages. Thorough knowledge of Web protocols and web technologies. Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and profile them.
Work Environment : Customer-focused, project-oriented testing environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.

Day to Day :
A typical day for a Digital Performance Analyst on the CBIC team involves planning and executing test cases for the Connexion portal and other CBIC CMS-hosted applications within the CMS Cloud (built on AWS ). Their testing will empower development and QA teams by simulating real-world usage, uncover performance issues, and ensure scalable, reliable applications in modern cloud environments.
When not The analyst uses TestRail to manage test plans, track execution, and document results, while JIRA is used to log defects and align testing tasks with Agile sprints. They collaborate with developers and business analysts in daily stand-ups, using Confluence to maintain test documentation, user stories, and release notes. The role also includes validating application behavior in cloud environments, supporting compliance testing, and ensuring that all updates meet CMS security and performance standards before deployment.
