Job Description
- MUST BE WILLING TO PERFORM CONSTRUCTION WORK
The Commercial Truck Driver will be transporting material, equipment and job-related items, including performing general construction labor functions as directed by the Construction Foreman. Accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be willing to travel and work overtime as neededMust be able to perform physical manual labor duties within the workdayEnsure that safety equipment is used properly at all times and that work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.Operate service and maintain trucks and other equipment.Comply with proper method of loading and unloading for the various material and equipment to be transported.Be able to follow company guidelines in regard to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees and the public.Keep appropriate documentation, driver daily logs, all necessary trip reports, and fuel reports.Qualifications
Must be 21 years old, have a valid commercial driver license (CDL) with a clean driving recordMust have construction experienceSelf-motivated with ability to following oral and written instructionsDemonstrated ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with coworkersMust have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, lift heavy physical objects, kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawlMust pass background check and company drug testing procedures as well as Federal Motor Carrier drug and alcohol testing regulations.Additional Information
Pay range : $25-$30 / hr DOE
