Pay Range : $60.00 - $65.00 Per Hour

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Kuiper Product Engineering team, focusing on scaling satellite system production. This role bridges hardware development, manufacturing, and testing to enhance yield improvements, tackle test failures, and facilitate efficient production escalations. If you are passionate about driving complex hardware failure analyses and delivering impactful solutions that enhance quality, cost, and throughput, join us in our ambitious mission.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Execute detailed failure analysis for various tests at subassembly and vehicle level.
  • Conduct hardware debug using lab tools and system schematics.
  • Support hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis.
  • Lead root cause investigations for hardware test failures across subsystems.
  • Develop scalable debug processes and documentation to aid rapid production ramp-up.

Must-Have Skills :

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development, testing, debug engineering, or production / test support.
  • 3+ years CAD experience in complex mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies / machines / systems
  • Hands-on experience with system-level hardware bring-up or failure analysis.
  • Proficient in using test and debug tools (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic analyzers).

    • Industry Experience :

  • Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-reliability production environments is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, material science or other related discipline, or relevant experience.
