Compensation : $150,000 - $200,000 plus equity
Location : 1 Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA (In-person role)
The Role
As our Contracts Lawyer, you'll manage the full lifecycle of commercial agreements as we scale our enterprise business. You'll work directly with sales, partnerships, and leadership to negotiate enterprise agreements, refine our legal documentation, and build optimal processes for contract management.
This isn't a traditional risk-averse legal role—you're a strategic partner who understands the balance between protecting the company and enabling deals. You'll negotiate MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and enterprise licensing agreements with Fortune 500 companies, pushing back where necessary to prevent business risk while keeping deals moving forward.
What you'll do :
Draft, review, and negotiate 20-40+ enterprise agreements per quarter (MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, SaaS agreements)Manage contract negotiations with enterprise legal and procurement teams, handling typical redlines and customer requestsImprove and refine our standard enterprise agreement templates based on market feedback and deal patternsBuild and refine contract playbooks, negotiation guides, and fallback positions that scaleBuild optimal processes for contract analysis, tracking, and managementPartner with sales to remove legal blockers and accelerate deal velocityNavigate enterprise procurement processes and build relationships with customer legal teamsStructure partnership agreements and collaboration frameworksEstablish contract approval workflows and reporting systemsAdvise on data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), security standards, and compliance requirementsIdentify and mitigate business risk while enabling revenue
What success looks like :
Sales views you as a deal enabler, not a blockerContract cycle times decrease through standardized language and clear processesYou execute complex enterprise deals while maintaining strong legal protectionsYou become the trusted legal expert for the revenue team Required Experience JD from accredited law school + active bar membership in at least one U.S. state2-5 years of SaaS / technology contracts experience (in-house or law firm)Proven track record negotiating commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements)Deep understanding of SaaS business models, subscription pricing, and enterprise software salesExperience with data privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA) and security standardsStrong business judgment—you know when to protect and when to enableExcellent communication skills with non-lawyersComfortable with high deal volume and fast-paced startup environments What Makes You Stand Out In-house experience at a Series A-C SaaS startup during hypergrowth is a plusTrack record negotiating with Fortune 500 legal and procurement teamsExperience building contract processes and templates from scratchBackground in AI / ML, developer tools, or enterprise softwareReduced contract cycle times and improved deal velocity in previous rolesUnderstanding of software development or technical conceptsExperience with CLM tools (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, etc.) What Makes This Different

Who we are : Our Co-Founder and CTO is a Serial Gen AI Inventor who grew up in Pune, India, is a BITS Pilani graduate, and worked at NVIDIA's Pune office for 6 years (promoted 5 times in 6 years).
