A Family Practice Physician is needed for a locum position at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan, ME. The role involves providing outpatient care to adult patients, seeing approximately 15-17 patients a day with a supportive team of physicians and nurse practitioners. The physician must be board certified or eligible, have an active Maine license, and will work Tuesday through Friday with no call required.

$125.00 / hr + Travel and Lodging. Client has an apartment for the provider.

Schedule :

  • Tuesday-Friday

8am-5pm

Call Schedule if Required :

  • No Call

    • Type of Facility (Clinic, Hospital, Multi-Specialty Group, Solo, Community Health, etc.) :

  • Clinic Only

    • Position Details :

  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing Residency
  • Internal Medicine group
  • All outpatient clinic coverage, no hospital, no call
  • Will see 15-17 patients / day (based on 8-hr day)
  • All Adult patients
  • Will have (2) Internal Medicine physicians and (1) Nurse Practitioner working in the clinic at all times
  • Excellent support staff
  • EMR : Meditech
  • Must have an active Maine license prior to start date. Will wait on provider to obtain a Maine License

    • Inpatient and / or Outpatient :

  • All Outpatient

    • Support Staff Available :

  • Full office staff

    • Additional Details :

  • Temporary privileges within 2-3 weeks
