Front-End Software Engineer (React, Web UX)

Team Red Dog is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer (React Web UX) to support our design-forward technology client on-site in Redmond WA. This role focuses on building scalable high-performance web interfaces that shape intuitive user-centered digital experiences. Youll work hands-on with React modern JavaScript / TypeScript and UX-driven front-end architecture while collaborating closely with design product and engineering partners on highly visible consumer-facing experiences.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves) :

• React with Modern JavaScript / TypeScript (35 years)

Hands-on experience building production-grade React applications using functional components hooks and modern state management patterns.

Strong ability to translate UX / UI designs into accessible responsive interfaces using HTML5 CSS3 Flexbox / Grid and accessibility standards (a11y).

Experience integrating REST and / or GraphQL APIs managing client-side data flow and contributing to scalable maintainable front-end systems.

Opportunity Overview :

This role offers the opportunity to help define and deliver the UX foundation for future Xbox experiences. Youll work in a highly collaborative design-driven environment where front-end engineering and user experience intersect. How you will make an impact :

Design and develop responsive user-centric web interfaces using React and modern front-end technologies

Partner closely with UX designers to implement wireframes prototypes and high-fidelity UI components

Optimize front-end performance accessibility and maintainability

Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality reusable code

Integrate front-end features with back-end APIs and services

Troubleshoot and resolve UI / UX issues across browsers and devices

Contribute to component libraries design systems and front-end standards

Estimate development timelines and identify technical constraints

The expertise you bring :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering HumanComputer Interaction or a related field

24 years of professional experience building modern web applications with a focus on React and UX

Strong knowledge of HTML CSS responsive design and accessibility best practices

Experience with front-end tooling and build pipelines (Webpack Vite ESLint etc.)

Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment
