We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Tax Team Member (Data Entry Specialist)

Location: Valencia, CA |Pay rate: $25/hr| Schedule: Shifts may very (AM: 8am–4pm | PM: 4pm–Close)

As a data entry team member for our virtual tax returns you will play an essential role in preparing client files for review by licensed tax professionals. You will enter and verify client tax info using Ultra Tax software, managing client communications and document flow in Tax Dome, and assist with Day smart appointment scheduling.

Key responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter tax data and supporting documents into UltraTax software.
  • Upload, organize, and track client files in Tax Dome.
  • Schedule and manage client appointments using Day Smart.
  • Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone, addressing client inquiries, scheduling needs, and basic tax-related questions.
  • Greet clients, answer phones, and assist with general front-office communication.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Verify data accuracy and flag any missing or inconsistent information.
  • Follow established workflow and privacy security protocols.
  • Support general administrative task to ensure smooth tax season operations.

Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in tax data entry, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Ultra Tax and/or Tax Dome is highly desirable.
  • Basic familiarity with Day smart (training provided), Strong customer service skills, including professional etiquette and in-person client interaction.

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment .
  • Understanding of basic tax forms (e.g., W-2, 1099, Schedule C).
  • Strong multitasking abilities. Comfort with cloud-based systems and digital document management is a plus.
